Breakthrough in the whole well anti-corrosion process of carbon fiber rod

Recently, scientific researchers completed the field test of the weighted whole well anti-corrosion process under the carbon rod pump in the well, marking a breakthrough in the carbon fiber research project.

Carbon fiber continuous sucker rod is light, high-strength and corrosion-resistant, which is especially suitable for oil well lifting. It has the advantages of load reduction, energy saving, deep extraction, and extending the pump inspection cycle. However, since the previous rod column on the pump was a combination of carbon rod and steel rod, it is still difficult to solve the corrosion of the steel rod.

The whole well anti-corrosion process of weighting under the carbon rod pump studied by the researchers adopts the way of weighting under the pump, and the steel weighting rod is lowered into the lower part of the oil well pump, so that the upper rod column of the pump is all carbon fiber rod, realizing the whole well anti-corrosion of the upper rod column of the pump.

At the same time, because the pump has downward feedback force, it can be used together with the weighting rod, which can effectively avoid the pressure of carbon fiber sucker rod and other problems.

What is the effect of adding glass fiber to plastics?

There are two main functions. The first is reinforcement. The increase of glass fiber can improve the strength and rigidity of plastics, but the toughness of the same plastics will decline. The second is temperature resistance. Take nylon as an example. The thermal deformation temperature of nylon with glass fiber is increased by at least two times. The temperature resistance of general glass fiber reinforced nylon can reach more than 220 degrees.

The scientific name of carbon fiber is "polyacrylonitrile based carbon fiber", which is a conforming material prepared from carbon fiber and related matrix resin (such as epoxy resin).

Carbon fiber is a kind of special fiber mainly composed of carbon element, and its carbon content varies with different types, generally more than 90%. Carbon fiber has the characteristics of general carbon materials, such as high temperature resistance, friction resistance, conductivity, heat conduction and corrosion resistance, but it is different from general carbon materials.

Its shape has significant anisotropy, softness, and can be processed into various fabrics, showing high strength along the fiber axis. Carbon fiber has low specific gravity, so it has high specific strength.
